Douglasville Dedicates Blue Star Memorial to Honor Armed Forces

The City of Douglasville proudly dedicated a Blue Star Memorial on Friday, April 11th at Hunter Memorial Park, in a ceremony that paid tribute to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. The memorial, part of a national program founded by the National Garden Clubs, Inc., stands as a lasting tribute to those who have served, are serving, or will serve in the U.S. military.

Coach's Corner Youth sports in the community presents us a great opportunity to uplift our next generation.
Youth Basketball Register online now and join us for evaluations and practices. Games start for ages 8 and up soon after. Scholarships are available, and we welcome coaches to get involved. Sign up and be part of the fun!
2025 Summer Adult COED Volleyball Join us this Summer for our Douglasville Parks & Recreation COED Adult Volleyball League. We want to promote healthy physical and social outlets for adults in the Douglasville community at Jessie Davis Park. Registration is team based but will have a free agent option (free agents are not guaranteed to be placed on a roster, money will be refunded if a team is not formed).
2025 Summer Adult COED Kickball Join the City of Douglasville Parks and Recreation Department for our inaugural Adult COED Kickball season! Get active, socialize, and compete with new and old friends at the baseball fields at Hunter Park. Registration is team based but will have a free agent option (free agents are not guaranteed to be placed on a roster, money will be refunded if a team is not formed).
Tennis Hunter Park offers 7 ALTA certified courts with bleachers for spectators and a pavilion with restrooms and shaded area.
