Alice J. Hawthorne Community Center
Jessie Davis Park is the home of the Alice J. Minor Hawthorne Community Center, a 15,720 square foot facility which was constructed in 2002 and dedicated to Mrs. Alice J. Hawthorne. Mrs. Hawthorne was a Douglasville native who tragically lost her life in the 1996 Olympic bombing. The Center features two meeting rooms, a warming kitchen, a gymnasium containing one regulation basketball court, two youth courts and two regulation volleyball courts.

A refundable cleaning/damage deposit is required for all rentals.
