With the start of the school year, Jessie Davis Pool will transition to a weekend-only schedule beginning Thursday, July 31st. The pool will be open Saturdays and Sundays through the month of August, with the final day of the season on Monday, September 1st (Labor Day).
Douglasville PD & Douglasville Parks & Recreation are teaming together to host a 15 week Youth Basketball league at the Alice J. Hawthorne Center Gym every Tuesday, now through July 22nd.
Games will being at 6 PM and 7 PM, and teams are co-ed for 12 to 17 years old.
The league is free of charge, but a waiver must be signed to participate. There will be rotating jerseys for the games.
